I didn’t go away to college. State school. One of many big mistakes in my life, and one of my few big regrets. I never had that independent experience that you get from living in a dorm on your own for the first time in your life. When I was 22, I decided to change all that by applying to the Disney College Program. Despite an underwhelming interview, I got in.
What followed is 5 of the best months of my life, though I didn’t know it at the time. Five months that changed my life forever. I’ve heard people say a lot of bad things about Disney. I’ve even said bad things myself. But I love Walt Disney World and I love Orlando, Florida. It’s a place where I have always felt at home. And for all my cynicism, it’s the one place on Earth that can make me believe in magic. This site is dedicated to that. The stories are all true.
